Change Starts Here
Macy Gardipee is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has 9 years experience working with adult and adolescent (ages 12-17 years old) clients in therapy. She started in Texas getting her Masters in Professional Counseling. Then, worked as a therapist for a non-profit counseling organization, private practice, and college/university as a counselor. She started her own private practice in 2020 in Texas and then moved to West Virginia in 2023. She is dually licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both Texas and West Virginia seeing clients virtually in both states through her practice, Recover & Rebuild Counseling, LLC.
I help clients with developing a strong sense of self, coping strategies and stress management techniques. During the initial sessions, I assist with delving deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps clients meet their goals.
My specialty is helping adults and teens who are experiencing major changes or obstacles in their life. This may include (but is not limited to) grief & loss, trauma, abuse, severe anxiety, relationship issues, depression, parenthood, marriage, family issues, and transitions with school, career, identity or family.
My approach to therapy is authentic and purposeful to help clients feel heard, increase self-awareness and discover what they need to deal with the situation and move forward.
Before making a decision about therapy or an appointment, I invite potential clients to schedule a free 20-minute phone consultation with me to discuss their needs and answer any questions they have about therapy before we begin.
The best way to reach me is by email or voicemail.
You can expect me to follow up with you within 48 business hours.
I genuinely appreciate your consideration and look forward to the possibility of working together.
